Lovin' child labor =o)

So I was naughty today and gave in to my desires to put up the crib. I know I'll be hating myself when it is still empty on my due date =o). I had a lot of child labor to help in the process (as usual, I took on the project when Hyrum was at work, cause that's how I roll.) I can't believe how helpful my kids are! It went a lot faster with someone to hold it up, instead of me having to support it with other peices of furniture and miscellaneous body parts while trying to put in all of the screws. My favorite was Hannah's contribution of supervisor.

BTW....I looked closely at your picture, and your crib looks kinda like the one in the big recall. Hard to tell, but the plastic hardware parts look the same to me. Is it a Simplicity brand crib? There may be a sticker somewhere on the crib identifying it. There has been several cases where the hardware breaks and the drop side partially separates and allows a baby to roll and become trapped....anyways. We had one, and were able to return it to Target for a refund. If you can't or don't want to return it, I'd suggest screwing some brackets or something to keep the side part from ever moving. If it's not the recalled one, then nevermind. LOL. :-) Sorry, I'm a little paranoid!
