First Day of Kindergarten (very belated post)

I am the worst mom ever. Bryant started Kindergarten back on the 27th of August - what is that, 3 weeks ago? And I am just posting about it now. Good thing he doesn't know how to read the blog yet =o)

I didn't think that I would cry for this one - he is my second to start school, and he is only going a 1/2 day, which is what he did last year in preschool. However, the minute I was out of eye-shot, out came the water works. Is he going to make friends? Is he going to be comfortable with his teacher? Is he going to be scared of the big kids on the playground??????

My fears were put to rest the minute I picked him up. His teacher informed me that he and 3 other boys were already inseperable. Phew! Bry's always been my shy guy, so this was a major relief. What was even better was the fact that he has had tons of things to share with me every day after school. Last year, I could barely pull two words out of him. My little fella is growing up.
